This action modifies a demarcation line in the current regulations that is used to monitor vessel activity. The intent of this action is to enhance enforcement capability.
NMFS issues this final rule to implement Framework Adjustment 11 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan (Multispecies FMP) and Framework Adjustment 6 to the Atlantic Sea Scallop Fishery Management Plan (Scallop FMP).
