NEFMC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Council’s five-member Executive Committee consists of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, the past-year Chairman (if still on the Council) and, as necessary, either two or three members who are elected by the Council in the same manner as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Officers are elected for one-year terms and may be reelected.
Current members include the Council Chairman, Rip Cunningham, Vice Chairman, Terry Stockwell and three others voted on my the Council. They are Frank Blount, Tom Dempsey, and David Preble. The Regional Administrator for NOAA Fisheries and the Council's Executive Director attend the Executivie Committee meetings.
