The Atlantic Herring Research Track Working Group will hold a hybrid stakeholder engagement session on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The session will begin with a progress report on the research track’s development, followed by an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback to the working group. All fishermen and other members of the public who have an interest in the Atlantic herring resource are encouraged to participate.
The stakeholder engagement session is being hosted jointly by the New England Fishery Management Council and the Northeast Fisheries Science Center. The session will follow a meeting of the Council’s Atlantic Herring Advisory Panel, which is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. the same day.
