The Northeast Fisheries Science Center is convening a September 11-15, 2017 Groundfish Operational Stock Assessments Peer Review Meeting, which is addressing 20 groundfish stocks managed by the New England Fishery Management Council and included in the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan.

WHERE: The meeting will take place in the Stephen H. Clark Conference Room in the Aquarium Building at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole, MA.

AGENDA OVERVIEW: The daily breakdown is as follows.

  • Monday, September 11 – Cod, haddock, and white hake stocks, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 12 – Flounder stocks, 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 13 – Remaining flounder stocks and pollock, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 14 – Redfish, ocean pout, Atlantic wolffish, and public comment, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., follow-up discussion, summary, and writing, 1:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, September 15 – Review of species summaries, 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
