The Council tracks offshore developments and activities that have the potential to affect Council-managed species and regional marine environments. These include offshore wind, aquaculture, and oil and gas leasing, as well as marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR) and emerging issues such as offshore mineral mining and nuclear energy development.
